Swing Into Action
Lower School:
Our lower school sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays and are specifically designed for 4th through 8th graders. Students work on developing basic hand-eye coordination, footwork, and ball-striking before moving on to learning the basic rules of squash, and competing in points and games. Students also get a chance to play engaging games every day to learn teamwork and problem-solving.
High School:
Students in 9th through 12th grades work on increasing technical skills with a focus on match-play. Students learn point, game and match strategies with a focus on preparing to compete. Students also learn to referee matches and gain certification as age-level referees.
Schedule:
Monday/Wednesday:
3:30-4:15 (Blue)
4:45-6:00 (Yellow)
What to Bring:
A squash racket if you have one; if not, rackets will be available for loan.
Squash Shoes (non-marking indoor sneakers) if you have them; if not, shoes will be available for loan.
Protective eyewear is required to safeguard against any stray balls. If you do not have them, eye guards will be provided.
A small towel and a change of clothes for after the session, as squash is a high-intensity workout that will likely get you sweating.
